Staff

Lieutenant Ken Woodward is responsible for the Patrol Division.  Lieutenant Woodward joined the Sheriff’s Office is 2007 as a Corrections Reserve. In 2008 he was promoted to Patrol Deputy. He has also served as the Training Officer for the Sheriff’s Office and as the Range Master responsible for all firearms training. He is also a member of the NEO SWAT Team. In 2015 he achieved the rank of Patrol Sergeant. In 2020 he was elevated to Patrol Lieutenant.

Lieutenant Nick Huelter is responsible for the Corrections Division. Lieutenant Huelter began his career with the Sheriff’s Office in corrections as a Reserve Corrections Deputy in 2014. In 2015 he was promoted to full time corrections deputy and completed the basic Corrections Academy and received his certification in Corrections. In 2017 he was promoted to Corrections Corporal. Then in 2018 he attained the Corrections Sergeant position, 2nd in command in corrections. In the fall of 2019 he was promoted to Corrections Lieutenant.

Sergeant Travis Schaad is 2nd in command in the Patrol Division, responsible for day to day patrol operations, training and scheduling. Sergeant Schaad first came to the Sheriff’s Office in 1995 as a Reserve Corrections Deputy. In  1997 he began his career as a full time Corrections Deputy and in 2006 became a full time Patrol Deputy. In 2020 he was promoted to Patrol Sergeant,

Sergeant Caleb Keller is 2nd in command in the Corrections Division, responsible for day to day operations in corrections, training and scheduling. Sergeant Keller began his corrections career with the Oregon Department of Corrections in 2015, working at Eastern Oregon Correctional in  Pendleton. He was hired by the Sheriff’s Office in early 2019 as a full time Corrections Deputy. In the fall of 2019 he was promoted to Corrections Corporal. In the fall of 2020 he was elevated to his current role as Corrections Sergeant.

Office Manager Cathie Falck

Office Manager Cathie Falck

Cathie Falck, Office Manager, has been with the Sheriff’s Office since 1998. She started out working part time at the front desk and was promoted to full time Senior Department Specialist in 2000. Her job duties have evolved over the years and in 2010 the job title was changed to Office Manager. Cathie writes and administers most of the grants for the Sheriff’s Office and oversees all administrative operations, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, orders supplies and equipment, arranges travel for the staff and supervises the Civil Service Division and Front Desk Reception along with serving as the confidential secretary for the Sheriff.
